What is it?
These are injection of hyaluronic acid which are injected into the skin. Once injected the hyaluronic acid had 2 actions:
1) Stretches and restructures superficial wrinkles
2) Hydrates the skin to improve skin’s elasticity, radiance and smoothness

Who is it for?
This treatment is really good if you have signs of ageing (wrinkles) at the dynamic area of your face in particular your forehead, or around your eyes or mouth. In particular, this treatment will be useful for patients in whom Dr Joanna has advised should avoid botulinum toxin treatment in their forehead due to heavy eyelids.
Following this treatment, you should expect to see less fine lines and wrinkles, a glowing complexion, and better skin.

How long does it last?
Most patients will need a 2nd treatment 8 weeks following their first treatment session. To sustain results, 1 session should be done every 6 months.

Does it hurt?
Topical local anaesthetic will be applied to your face before the treatment is performed. The needle used is very small to help with any discomfort.

Are there any side effects?
You may have some redness or tenderness following the treatment. All side effects will be discussed in full before the treatment was performed.
