What is it?
With ageing, levels of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin in the skin decreases resulting in the visible signs of ageing. This relatively new treatment contains both a hyaluronic acid dermal filler and calcium hydroxyapetitie which is a calcium stimulator. The dual effects of HarmonyCa makes it a unique product. 

Who is it for?
It is particularly good for patients who are experiencing a loss if elasticity and volume in their face. The dual effect will help to restore skin quality attributes such as skin firmness and elasticity. The ideal candidate for this treatment will be experiencing lack of skin firmness, mild/ moderate cheek sagginess, accordion lines on smiling, and/ or mild/ moderate signs of jowling.  

How long does it last?
Immediately you should see a lifting effect in your face. The results of the calcium stimulation can take longer and best results will be seen at 6 months pot treatment. Results will last for up to 12 months but it is recommended to repeat treatment after 6 months for optimum results.  

Does it hurt?
The treatment will be performed using a cannula. HarmonyCa contains a local anaesthetic called lidocaine which helps make the treatment more comfortable. 

Are there any side effects?
As with any aesthetic treatment you might have swelling, redness, discomfort or bruising following the treatment. Any side effects should resolve spontaneously within a few days.
