What is it?
Profhilo Structura was launched in the UK in June 2024. It is a revolutionary product and leading the way in regenerative aesthetic medicine. The product contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid (90mg in 2ml syringe). As we age, our faces undergo various changes which result in the movement of the fat pads – ultimately there is a loss of fat volume in the cheeks and our faces can end up looking rather hollow or “jowly”. Profhilo structura is injected into these ageing fat pads using a cannula. The hyaluronic acid stimulates the fat pads to regain lost volume resulting in improved skin quality, reduction in wrinkles and a lifted appearance to the lower face.

Who is it for?
Profhilo structura is ideal for patients who wish to avoid using dermal fillers, or for people who are showing signs of ageing due to fat repositioning (moderate/ significant mid face volume deficit).

How long does it last?
You will need 2 treatments 30 days apart. Following this, the treatment should be repeated every 4-6 months to maintain results.

Does it hurt?
The treatment is performed using a cannula. It can be slightly nippy, however this sensation does not last long.

Are there any side effects?
As with any injectable treatment there are risks of bruising, redness and swelling. All potential side effects would be discussed prior to any treatment being performed.
