Treatments
Polyneucleotides
What is it?
Polyneucleotides come from freshwater fish. Once injected into the skin polyneucleotides promote skin hydration and elasticity, and increase collagen synthesis. This results in more radiant and youthful skin with fewer wrinkles and less skin laxity.
Who is it for?
PhilArt can be injected into the skin of the face, neck and hands. It is particularly useful to be used in skin that has signs of scarring either from trauma or acne as it can often minimise the appearance of scars.
PhilArt Eye can be injected very close to the eye to help with eye wrinkles, hollowing and darkness.
How long does it last?
The treatment will be carried out every 3 weeks for 3-4 sessions dependant on your pre-existing skin quality. It will need to be repeated every 6 months to maintain the results.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream will be applied prior to the treatment occurring.
Are there any side effects?
Pain, swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising may follow the injections, however these effects are temporary and should resolve within a few days. This treatment is not suitable for people who are allergic to fish.
